To ensure high quality video, audio, and content, the RSS 2000 server leverages the Polycom UltimateHD™ experience using high definition H.264 video compression and Siren™ 14 audio. Additionally, Polycom HDX series high definition video endpoints provide integrated one-touch RSS 2000 recording capability.
The RSS 2000 server can stream events in real-time to individuals, remote users or archive recordings for on demand plaback from the Web or from a video endpoint.
