Hires 25-year Video and Networking Industry Veteran Kent Ramsay as General Manager June 28, 2006 Quincy, MA.–Videré Conferencing, a leading provider of video, audio and web conferencing solutions, announced today that they have expanded into the Great Lakes region including Ohio, Pennsylvania Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Videré also announced that they have hired Kent Ramsay, a twenty-five year video conferencing and networking industry veteran, as General Manager of the Great Lakes office. Established in 2002, Videré has quickly become New England’s leading conferencing solutions provider to the healthcare, education, legal, financial and professional services industries. His diverse background includes telecommunication and conferencing sales, sales management, and network consulting. At VTEL, as Territory Manager in Ohio, Ramsay was responsible for the Schoolnet K12 project, which developed into one the country's largest interactive distance learning networks. Then, as Vice President for the Great Lakes Region, he lead the team of sales professionals and engineers that helped VTEL consistently succeed in government, education and enterprise video conferencing applications. “Videré is filling a very unique and vital need in the conferencing industry.
